As of late I have stumbled on a bunch of detective games that I consider hidden gems! It seems more people in the indie scene love the detective genre just as much as I do! Because of that there are many different takes on this underappreciated genre and The Flower Collectors is also very unique. It tells the story of ex cop Jorge who lost function in his legs after an accident and is now confined to his apartment and balcony. With his binoculars he checks out on all the inhabitants of the neighborhood when on one fateful evening a murder takes place! Together with a young journalist Jorge needs to find out who the culprit is and why the incident happened in the first place. You will meet a cast of colorful characters and this is all set on a political background of 1970's Spain during the first free elections.
