In this video, one traveller named Sue (@economyvodka) recounted the traumatising experience of going through an Israeli checkpoint in the West Bank to get from one Palestinian city to another. While she spent seven months in Palestine and will likely remember this experience for the rest of her life, Sue also recognised that she felt just a fraction of what Palestinians who were born and raised under occupation live through. Palestinians have encouraged foreigners to visit the occupied territories to see first-hand what they have been fighting since at least 1948.
