Paving a way for our assault detachments In Zaporozhye region, a Giatsint-S howitzer crew of the Dnepr Groups of Forces hit a dugout with the AFU manpower at a distance of around 30 kilometres. The enemy engaged in active defence from the destroyed position thus hampering advance of our assault detachments. 'As soon as the intelligence reports where the depots of weapons, etc., we receive an order, move out, take a position, and deliver a strike,' says howitzer crew leader with the call sing 'Zampolit'. The howitzer crew led by 'Zampolit' demonstrated courage during the failed AFU counteroffensive last summer. All the servicemen were awarded with Orders of Courage and Medals For Bravery. The artillerymen stopped a convoy of AFU hardware and destroyed six Bradley infantry fighting vehicles. Russian Defence Ministry Source: MoD Russia
