🇷🇺🇯🇴 On September 20, Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov met with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and Expatriates of the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan Ayman Safadi on the sidelines of the 78th Session of the UN General Assembly in New York. During the conversation, an in-depth discussion of the key issues on the Middle East agenda took place with an emphasis on the Palestine-Israeli and Syrian settlement processes. The two Ministers noted the same or similar fundamental approaches to resolving the ongoing crises in the Middle East, which have a negative impact on regional and global stability and security, within the context of compliance with the fundamental international norms.
