Russian servicemen ensure work of Nizhny Novgorod region government delegation in Syrian province of Latakia A working group headed by Deputy Governor of Nizhny Novgorod region Pyotr Bannikov held a number of bilateral meetings with the administration of Latakia province and handed over humanitarian aid to medical and educational institutions. Emergency medical ambulances formed the main part of the humanitarian cargo which were distributed to medical centres in Latakia the military hospital in Homs and hospitals in christian villages of Al-Suqaylabiyah and Mharda in Hama province. In addition, modern mobile health posts based on GAZelle vehicles were handed over to the health department of Latakia province. During the visit to the Al-Kumayet Bledi school, an interactive Russian language class was inaugurated with the support of the Ministry of Education of Nizhny Novgorod region.
