This tutorial shows you some basic as well as advanced concepts for building a slime farm. With some planning, you should be able to build a farm of any size using the stuff shown here. UPDATE NOTES ( Release) ---------------------- - looks like they fixed the suffocating technique I showed at around 5:30. While it's still possibly to make the farm two high (and the streams two wide etc.) the efficiency should be less than half of what it used to be, because big slimes won't spawn at all anymore on two high floors. So I suggest building the three high variant, which I introduce at 6:30 in the video. - height limit for slime spawning was raised to 40 (from 16), allowing you to build much more floors than before in one chunk. Makes it easier to avoid bedrock, too. Spawning ---------------------- Keep in mind that legit spawning is very rare, so you don't need to overcomplicate it, unless you lit the area around you to provent other hostiles from spawning.
