In this video i will go in detail on probably the most common question in badminton and show you how to improve your overhand technique. That is the reason, why i made this tutorial for both shots, because they both follow the same principals. Actually there are only two realls small differences between smash and clear: 1) With a good technique you don’t need full power, to hit a clear from one baseline to the other so the movement is a little slower than the movement of a powersmash 2) The shots have a differen point of impact. A smash should fly downwards, so you should hit it front of you, so the stringing points downwards in the moment of impact.
