SHOCKING drone footage captures severe damage in Indonesian village after deadly volcano eruption. The death toll from the Semeru volcano eruption in Indonesia has risen to 34 on Tuesday, local media reported. According to Antara News, some 34 people have been killed and 16 are still missing. The eruption spewed a plume of smoke and ash 50,000ft into the sky on Saturday afternoon, sparking a warning to planes. Homes, cars and roads have been coated in volcanic ash when it fell back to earth, and a desperate search is now underway for survivors who many be buried.
