3d printers are great for making moulds and masters for lure making. For this project I used a free computer aided design program, Fusion 360, to draw up a very basic ball jig head with a wire insert to act both as a lure keeper and an arm to hold an underspin willow blade on a barrel swivel. These are very basic shapes and rather than make a master I made boxes to cast the two parts of the mould in. This makes mould production very easy and quick. The silicone I used is heat resistant and metal was lead free pewter. Underspin blades are one of those bits of fishing jewellery that I reach for if I am not getting any bites on good old soft plastic fishing lure. They add vibration to lure in murky water and some flash if it clear and the sun is shining, I live in the UK a country the sun does its best to avoid Tools and materials Fusion 360, free for personal use Elegoo mars pro 2 3d resin printer Elegoo abs like
