9V-SPK, one of two special Tropical MegaTop - Raffles - designed 747-412s by Singapore Airlines, 9V-SPL was the other. 9V-SPK was destroyed when it crashed in a fearsome rain storm at Taipei Taoyuan Airport on the night of October 31, 2000 when it took off on a closed parallel runway that was under construction.
