Great peace2 Isaiah 54:13 All your children will be taught by the Lord, and great will be their peace. As we examine Isaiah chapter 54 we are seeing the restoration that God is bringing to his people. God enjoys restoring us he does not enjoy punishing us however he will just like a natural father does not enjoy having to punish his children but he understands the importance of the punishment in helping the child come to righteousness. God understands importance of punishment for you and for me so that we will come back to righteousness and when we do God is able to do what he really enjoys doing to us and through us and for us which is restoring us. My prayers for each of us may we learn the lessons that God is trying to teach us in his chastisement so that when God restores us we will not repeat the negative behavior have to be punished again in the mighty name of Jesus Christ.
