Green Ghost Mantis (Phyllocrania paradoxa): Took the jade monster out for some fresh air. This is the largest of my Ghost Mantises. Interesting how their color scheme changes with each molt. This is the “Don’t look at me - I’m a leaf“ disguise. Still looks like a tiny dragon to me. I love being able to see the color patterns and textures up close. Such complex little creatures. If you look closely about 1:13 in you can see the flesh on the back of the neck is an aqua blue. FOR BEST QUALITY:
