Alexander Flood, one of Australia’s most creative and versatile drummers and bandleader, has developed and refined a strong, progressive voice and style on his kit through his 17 years performing and studying. The shuffling broken beats and dancing flute melodies in title track “Oscillate” is taken from Down-Under drummer and producer sensation Alexander Flood latest project, coming soon via Jakarta Records. Combining bouncy keys (courtesy Berlin wunderkind Àbáse), crisp flute (via Brazilian composer Paulo Cedraz) and lush percussive rhythms (courtesy Alex), all underlain by a throbbing bass from Horatio Luna that perfectly rounds out this sure-fire dance floor groover.
