Imprinting happens the first time a werewolf sees the human object of their imprinting. If the werewolf sees someone the first time after they phase and don’t imprint, then they will never imprint on that person. If the werewolf does imprint, their life is changed forever. The werewolf will do anything to protect their imprint and keep them happy. All other commitments in their life becomes secondary, even their commitment to the pack.
