Season 1 sported a treasure trove of Star Wars Easter eggs. From planets like of Ord Manel and Kamino to characters like Hera Syndulla and Captain Rex, The Bad Batch Season 1 used heavy references to the galaxy far, far away as a means of establishing itself and gaining some Star Wars footing. Season 2 will likely take on much of the same tone because Star Wars material thrives on making connections to other properties. One connection that fans can expect is the reappearance of Jedi Padawan Gungi from the Clone Wars. The premise of The Bad Batch is simple: Clone Force 99 tries to adapt to the new galaxy. However, exactly what they'll be doing in Season 2 is anyone's guess. Yet that hasn't stopped fans from predicting things. Everything from a Commander Cody redemption to rescuing Grogu is on the table for possible plot points, and both would delight fans. Other things that fans would like to see are the regular appearance of Grand Moff Tarkin and the reappearance of Captain Howzer.
