Yuja Wang, pianist The Chinese pianist studied in Beijing, Calgary (Canada) and Philadelphia. Yuja Wang had her great breakthrough in 2007 when she stood in for Martha Argerich, who had to cancel a series of performances of Tchaikovsky’s Piano Concerto No. 1 with the Boston Symphony Orchestra under Charles Dutoit.
