In the light of recent times - working with the legendary Ian Paice - I figured I'd do a little cover of a Deep Purple classic. Playing all of the instruments myself. I knocked this together in a few hours yesterday and I had to come up with a way to fill the Hammond organ sound of the late great, Jon Lord. I decided to work out a way with a bunch of plugins to replicate the Hammond sound and I was able to do a fairly decent job. It's kinda like the reverse of what my good pal Lachy Doley has been doing with his whammy clav, replicating a guitar (link to his latest single down below).
