On July 15th (yes, I'm sorry I'm a little late), 2003, BioWare Entertainment published a role-playing video game called “Knights of the Old Republic,“ set in the ancient era of the “Star Wars“ universe. This game has had a profound impact on my life since I first played it eighteen years ago, and remains my favorite video game of all time to this day. To celebrate the game's twentieth release anniversary, I have adapted the game into a LEGO-based animation. My goal in this is to allow returning players like myself to experience the story again in a condensed format, while giving new viewers a taste of the experience (without spoiling the entire story - so be careful not to reveal too much in the comments!). In Part 1, our hero finds herself on the Republic warship Endar Spire, in the midst of a surprise attack by the Sith. With the help of Republic soldiers Trask Ulgo and Carth Onasi, she must escape to the planet Taris and find the Jedi war hero Bastila, before the Sith find her first . . .
