ive never played a touhou game in my life FAQ since this video has more views than reasonable: Q: how did you do this A: i wrote a python program that was just supposed to automate clean mosaics that were relevant to the tile, one thing leads to another and this video is born after 24 hours of rendering. Q: why did you do this A: funny Q: why are some of the apples rotten A: the algorithm detects the difference between the space it's filling and every possible tile. if it's rotten it's because THAT apple matches the silhouette of the frame better than the usual black or white replacement tiles. Q: is the script limited to black and white videos, such as bad apple? A: no actually! i could play literally any video on apples. or bread. or anything. theres no limitations at all aside from what looks nice. Q: have you played a touhou game since you uploaded this A: absolutely not
