2022 Geely Binyue Cool in-depth Walkaround 1 just 1-minute car video😉 The new Geely Binyue Cool (yes, that’s the name) is powered by a new turbocharged 4-cylinder petrol engine, good for 181 PS and 290 Nm. The new engine is codenamed BHE15-EFZ. These figures mean that this new engine offers 4 PS and 35 Nm more than the current Binyue / Proton X50’s 3-pot (177 PS, 255 Nm). As before, power is routed through a 7-speed wet-type dual-clutch transmission, driving the front wheels. Curiously, unlike other variants of the Binyue, the Binyue Cool does not get steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters. Geely also revamped the cabin of the Binyue Cool – out goes the tiny 7-inch digital instrument cluster, now replaced by a larger unit. There are also contrasting florescent green highlights to lift the cabin ambiance. Apart from that, the dashboard and center console design is also all-new. There is now more storage space in the center console of the new Binyue Cool, as well as easier-to-access USB ports.
