Giant turtle returns to Atlantic Ocean after 3 months of rehab in Florida

A 170-kilogram loggerhead sea turtle named Bubba made a triumphant return to the Atlantic Ocean on Saturday. He was reportedly found in April by Inwater Research Group biologists. Bubba was transported to Florida’s Brevard Zoo because his front flippers were injured, likely from a predator attack. Now, after 3 months of treatment and care, he has happily returned home to the waters off Cocoa Beach.
