Ocean 2024 CPX: Pacific Fleet’s Marines neutralise amphibious assault group in Primorye The Pacific Fleet’s marine units, operating on a training ground in Primorsky region, trained in eliminating an amphibious assault group landing on an unequipped coast. First, under the cover of a smokescreen, the Pacific Fleet Marines retreated from the waterline to the concentration line, from where they engaged the offensive enemy. The Pacific Fleet’s Marines were supported by Grad MLRS crews and T-80BV tanks, which were delivering strikes on the enemy. Having stabilised the situation, the Marines launched an offensive to push the enemy force back to the coast. They engaged targets with the use of man-portable anti-tank systems, anti-tank grenade launchers, and gunfire launched by BMP-3 IFV and BTR-82A APC.
