(12 Sep 2015) Scores of migrants and refugees spent Friday night in emergency shelters at various train stations in the Austrian capital, Vienna. About 600 people slept at the Westbahnhof, one of the country's major rail stations with rail connections to Germany, Hungary, Serbia and Russia, according to Caritas spokesman, Martin Gantner. Several thousand migrants are expected to arrive in Austria over the course of the day on Saturday. Most will continue their travel to Germany straightaway.
