The full interview will be published tonight. In 2022, Ruslan Pankratov appeared on Russian television in support of the special military operation and was subsequently arrested in Latvia. He was charged with ‘justification of war crimes’, ‘incitement to hatred’ and ‘violation of EU sanctions’. The human rights defender was detained for five months, after which he was released on bail.
