But what is the best way of peeking it? Do you peek closer, further, or at the same distance from the angle as the enemy? Is there even a difference? Let’s look at this little simulation. The box in the middle is the angle. You are the dark blue circle, and your line of sight is represented by the light blue lines coming out of the circle. The same is for the enemy, which is the red circle with light red lines. In the first scenario you are peeking closer to the angle than the enemy, note how it can see the edge of your model before you are able to see them. In the second scenario, you are both the same distance from the angle and will be able to see each other at the same time. In the last scenario, you are peeking further from the angle, and you will see the enemy before they can see you. Just like the first scenario but reversed. Thus, the further you stand from the angle, the more likely you are to be able to see the enemy before you, giving you the slightest advantage!
