There aren't a whole lot of actual GeoStorm megacollabs despite popular belief. A lot of people call my megacollabs GeoStorm megacollabs, which is a bit wrong as they always had some creators that weren't in the team. They weren't hosted in the server either. “Scrap“, following the naming scheme of previous GeoStorm megacollabs, such as “Flap“ and “Zap“, is the first one after a long time. Even though I didn't create in this, I'm glad that I got the chance to Premiere and verify this. It's awesome to see the team members make projects this cool together, and especially considering how fast it was made. I may be a bit biased since this is technically made by my team's members, but it's worth noting that I had absolutely no part in the creation of this. The level has a clear space theme from start to finish, which is one of my personal favorite themes (as you may be able to guess if you've seen my Discord server). I really like the different approach each creator took. For example, the first few parts focus on art, some of the middle ones focus on design, while the ones at the climax are heavy on effects. These choices match the song's progression very well. Aside from the theme, there isn't a whole lot connecting every part together; they feature different styles as just mentioned, and the colors are also wildly different (which is a good choice for a space-themed level). However, the theme itself and the smooth transitions between each part make it work regardless. Some parts are definitely not as good as others, but this is a good example of the whole being greater than the sum of its parts to me. As for the gameplay, I'm glad to say that it lived up to the quality of the visuals. It's very clear to read, allowing for easy sightreading, and every timing is very forgiving. The climax, 1:00 to 1:25, may look a bit tricky. It's definitely the hardest section of the level, but it's not by enough to be a bad thing to me. If anything were to be a bit harder in a level, it makes sense for it to be the climax at least. Once you've given it a practice run, it should be beatable in 1 attempt, and it's a fun one. I'd definitely recommend giving this a shot in-game. ★ Become a Member of my channel for special perks: - VIDEO INFORMATION - Game (version): Geometry Dash () Level: “Scrap“ by Thomartin, AutoNick, RadiationV2, melX0exe, disp, koolboom, Pauze, mbed, SpKale and Subwoofer ID: 91448272 Music: “Starship Showdown“ by Bossfight - LINKS - Discord: Twitter: Twitch: Merchandise: Thumbnail by Erdyuri:
