A tornado ripped through Barrie, Ontario in Canada on Thursday, injuring at least eight people and destroying about 25 buildings, CBC reported. Police in Barrie, a town 82km (50 miles) north of Toronto, said they were responding to multiple reports of damage in the south-eastern part of the city.
