How to replace a component on a PCB? 1、Plece the PCB on a level surface. Use clamps or tape on the sides to prevent movement during work. 2、Activate the hot-air gun, holding it approximately 6 inches over the target component. Ensure adjacent components remain cool. 4、Set the soldering iron. Utilize copper braid to remove excess solder from the removed component's pads. Clean the area around the pads and pads themselves using an alcohol swab. 5、Precisely position the new component on the board, aligning its leads with the respective pads. Verify correct orientation. 6、Solder each component lead to its corresponding pad on the board, utilizing solder and the soldering iron. Use a minimal amount of solder to prevent unintended connections.
