When Iran Shot Down $220 Million US RQ-4 Global Hawk #shorts

On June 19th 2019, $220 million US drone, known as RQ-4 global hawk, was flying in the Iranian air space, according to Iran. But according to U.S, the drone was 18 nautical miles away from Iran's border. Well, Northrop Grumman's RQ-4 global hawk is one of the most advanced surveillance drone in the inventory of U.S. Air Force. Global hawk can reach altitudes of 65,000 feet, more than B-2 stealth bomber and F-35 stealth fighter, and can exceed 30 hours of endurance, and 11,000 nautical miles in a single flight. The Downing took place over the straits of Hormuz, by Iran's Revolutionary Guard Corps, with 3rd Khorad surface to air missile. The drone was launched from a US base south of the Persian Gulf shortly after midnight. It flew towards the Chabaahar city in southeast. While returning to the region, the drone violated Iran's airspace, and engaged in information gathering, and was shot down at 4:05 a.m. local time.
