Combat Approved continues to work in the hottest spot of tension on the planet - Syria. This time, the viewers will learn about the modern air defense system, which protects the Russian air base and the Khmeimim airfield. Its main element is the S-400 anti-aircraft missile system. Five lines of defense consisting of minefields, roadblocks and special fortifications have been created to protect these unique SAMs. Another anti-aircraft shield of Khmeimim is the unique Pantsir-S1 self-propelled missile and air-defense system. It protects our soldiers and equipment from drones and projectiles, including improvised mines, which are very often used by Syrian terrorists. Made from gas cylinders filled with metal shrapnel, they have enormous striking power.
