U.S. Navy’s Independence-class littoral combat ship USS Gabrielle Giffords (LCS 10) launches a Naval Strike Missile (NSM) in Philippine Sea, Oct. 1, 2019. The Naval Strike Missile is a stealth sea-skimming cruise missile that is difficult to spot on radar.
