I just love a good trash to treasure makeover! In today's video, I give a Shabby Farmhouse update to a few thrift store items: a brass candlestick, an old shutter, a plain lampshade, and a beat up cabinet door. I mount the candlestick to a scrap wood frame with a shiplap look. The shutter gets a new look with a farmhouse wreath. Our bare lampshade is transformed into a beautiful shabby chic complement to the lamp. And, the cabinet door becomes a useful chalkboard!
