On this day, 128 years ago, the Soviet marshal, theorist of military strategy and military commander and chief of the General Staff of the Red Army Mikhail Nikolayevich Tukhachevsky was born. Hero of the war for deffence of the legacy of the Great October , which lasted from 1918 to 1921, commander of the response to the Polish attack, under the command of the bourgeois nationalist Pilsudski, founder of the theory of deep operations and a man who began a broad modernization of the Red Army (replacement of cavalry and artillery tanks, modernization weapons and defense systems ...). More conservative officers like Budyonny rose up against his ideas, preferring cavalry over tanks (sic!). Today, the reason for his personal intolerance with Stalin is already known in historical science, and that is the defeat by the Bourgeois Polish army on the Vistula.
