Variations Op. 21 No. 1 00:00 and (on a theme by Schumann) 15:21 little known and overshadowed by those of Handel and Haydn. They are however sublime and already contain all of Brahms. With a depth combining serenity and melancholy, as sensitive as imperial and powerful, we fell under the spell in a total way. Of a real difficulty of execution for the pianist, Eric and Tania Heidsieck maintain once again a very high standard of interpretation. Virtuosity and expression are at the service of a perfectly assimilated and translated work. COMPLETE TRACKS LIST & PRESENTATION: COMING SOON
