CACTUS, CANYONS, RAINBOW TROUT, AND BROWN TROUT! “Welcome to the Desert“ Fly fishing for Trout in a desert setting is something that just doesn’t feel right. With cactus lining the banks, tumbleweeds flying by, and dry creek beds being the norm, finding a trout stream is strange. Cresting the mountain leading into a creek like this one almost feels like you’ve found a hidden oasis full of gorgeous rainbow and brown trout. In this video Andrew and I fish some of the most Unique Trout Water in the world, finding a desert stream that was loaded with trout.
