Song created by Jaime “Rantam“ López - 2005 I created this song back in 2005. I was a big fan of “Forgotten Hope“, a mod of EA's Battlefield 1942 later ported to Battlefield 2. But this mod didn't have its own music, using songs from movies, etc. I thought it would be nice if it had its own original soundtrack. After creating two songs for it ( “Forgotten Hope Theme“ and “Entering Battle“) it was clear that neither of them were suitable as loading map music. The first due being too melancholic, and the second because the most epic part was its last section and the map loading time almost never reached that point. So, I decided to create a new song based on that last “Entering battle“ section, but longer and improved. That is how “Entering Battle Reprise“ was created. The song was released after the summer of 2005, and was chosen to be one of the loading map songs of the game. Forgotten Hope mod still exists today as “Forgotten Hope 2“, a Battlefield 2 World War 2 Mod and probably the best mod for Battlefield 2 ever. It includes not only “Entering Battle Reprise“ but also “Entering Battle“ (used as main menu music).
