Feline asthma attacks are commonly mistaken for hairball problems. Bob started showing signs of asthma in his 7th year. His attacks were mild and bi-weekly, and the vet advised keeping windows shut at night. It was humid where we lived in the Caribbean. His attacks became severe and much more frequent (4 a day) after moving to northern Sweden. Very dry climate there. Initially he took Prednesol tablets. We have recently begun using Flutide aerosol administered using the AeroKat Chamber.
