Belarusian opposition leader Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya is addressing a formal session of the European Parliament in Strasbourg, on Wednesday, November 24. Tsikhanouskaya's speech comes a day after a European Parliament special session on the heightened tensions at the border between Belarus and the EU, and the security and humanitarian consequences. After camping for weeks at the Belarus-Poland border in hopes of crossing into the EU, migrants are being moved this week to a logistics centre located not far from the frontier.
