Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge Review - Better Than Turtles in Time or SOR4?! Rejoice beat em' up fans, it has been a long time coming but the new Ninja Turtles: Shredder's Revenge by Tribute games has arrived! This is something I have been keeping an eye on for the past year. In other reviews, it has been hailed as a highlight of the genre and even better then classics like Turtles in Time and Streets of Rage 4. Being a dedicated player of both of these games as well as Beat Em' Ups generally, the big question for me was is this all hype? Is Shredder's Revenge really among the best of all time? IGN and Nintendo Life seem to think so. Nintendo Life went so far as to say it's “more enjoyable“ than Streets of Rage 4. In this video, I dig into the Nintendo Switch port and analyze the mechanics, level design, enemy design, movement, combat, boss fights, and general gameplay in-depth. Does the game hold up to the scrutiny, or is it more nostalgia bate that we just can't seem to resist but lavish with praise?
