A bükkábrányi lignitbányában 2007 nyarán fedezték fel azt a különleges, mintegy 7 millió éves mocsárciprus-erdő részletet, melynek 4 tagját a Herman Ottó Múzeumba szállították. Filmünkben most újra átélhetjük a 10 évvel ezelőtti izgalmakat, és az utána következő nehézségeket, melyek végeredményeként 2013-ban megnyílt a fákat, és teljes földtörténeti korukat bemutató kiállítás. ------------- On trails of primitive forests - From the bald-cypress forest of Bükkábrány to the Pannon Sea Museum It happened in the summer of 2007 that a 7 million years old bald-cypress forest part was discovered in the lignite mine of Bükkábrány. Four of its members were transported to the Herman Ottó Museum. In this movie, you can relive the excitement and later difficulties about ten years ago, the result of which was the born of our exhibition that introduces the trees and their whole geological period.
