An excellent compilation from one of the main stalwarts of British Raw Black Metal from the 10's. A band that should need no introduction, part of the excellent Yorkshire scene, blazing the underground through excellent imprints like the defunct All Dead Tapes and the relentless Legion Blotan Records, Wóddréa Mylenstede always presented a type of transcendental rawness, creating inhumane, spectral-like Raw Black Metal focused on black magic and the eternal suffering and wisdom of the dead. Much alike Black Cilice, focused around primitive riffage, tinged with some flairs of improvisation but also moments of mournful melodicism, always presented in their dungeon-like, almost funereal production values, Wóddréa remains one of the best gems of the Raw Black Metal underground. This compilation gathers their tracks from the “Old Ways, Once More“ compilation, released in 2011, their side of the split with Black Cilice from 2013, and on side B is an entire unreleased demo, titled “Inwaru (Dwolema)“ Released on LP through Livor Mortis.
