Players 1 and 2 line up facing the grid and players 3 (scrumhalf and defender 1) and 4 (defender 2) stand at the start next to them. The drill begins when player 3 passes from the deck to player 1 who then attacks up the channel, after passing player 3 runs and enters the grid at the 8m mark creating a 2v1. Player 4 takes off at the same time as 3 and enters the grid at the 15m mark creating the 2nd 2v1.
