Support us on Patreon Get our merch What I've Done is not an easy song to cover and interpret, especially after the original Linkin Park video that shows so many catastrophic events, so much destruction, and injustice. So I chose to look at it at a more personal level. To me, this song is about guilt, regret, and disappointment. We all are mere humans, we're not perfect. We all make mistakes and can only hope that they don't make any permanent damage. No matter how hard we wish while lying in bed at night that we had done or said something differently, we can't turn back time (unless you use some video magic😉). The only way forward is through accepting our mistakes, learning from them, and moving on. This is how we become better versions of ourselves.
