Sound System Monitors - Custom Made Center Console LED Meter Display | Cadillac Escalade

visit: - Join our fun, friendly and knowledgeable community today! The first meter is an SMD VM-1 HV (high voltage). It is monitoring the XS Power lithium battery bank in the back (see previous video’s, particularly the amp rack). The second meter is an SMD VM-1 and it monitors the front XS Power lithium battery (12v-14v) up front. The 2 OM-1 (Output Meters) are monitoring the output from the mids/highs and the subwoofer amps. The last monitor is an SMD TM-1 temperature monitor (built in fan output). It is monitoring the step down module box under the hood (see previous build video for details on that). It is crucial that it stays cool as it is stuffed with 6 XS Power step down modules to keep the higher voltage off of the Caddy itself. All of this stuff isn’t just pretty, it is functional.
