The anthem of Siam was the song “สรรเสริญพระบารมี“ (Eng. “Praise be to the piety of the king“). Interestingly, the melody for this anthem was written by the Russian composer Pyotr Andreyevich Shchurovsky. Today this song is the anthem of the Thai royal family.
