The start-up procedure of a 1925 Sunbeam 500cc Longstroke Sport with TT race carb. These motorcycles were known as the “Speedmans Machine” back in the day, and rightly so, they were quick and nimble and won many competitions including the Isle of Man TT. The Longstroke, some would argue, is the epitome of Sunbeam and represents the firms quest for high quality and reliable craftsmanship, and fast, thrilling machines… anyway who said vintage motorcycles weren’t complicated!?
