This period, known as the “Scramble for Africa,“ involved European nations competing to dominate and exploit the continent's vast resources. In simple words, European stole Africa’s vast resources. The consequences of this period continue to affect Africa today, highlighting the need to understand and address the historical injustices of colonialism.
