Connect with them on their social medias: @HayleyandJake Hayley & Jake have always loved camping, but it was a trip to Iceland, where they traveled in a rented mini van, that solidified their decision to live on the road full time. They started out vanlife in a prebuilt 1985 van, but eventually decided they wanted to create a home that was built perfectly to their needs. Their self-converted van features a large kitchen with a stove/oven combo, a permanent couch that doubles as their dog, Finnley's, bed, and a large bed with storage underneath. When Hayley & Jake built their current van, they kept in mind that they wanted to be able to travel anywhere, regardless of the weather. This created a home built for all four seasons that has taken them all the way from Canada to Cancún.
