81. Mrs McDermott Roe - Turlough O'Carolan (Lockdown O' Carolan Challenge)

This arrangement is part of the Lockdown O' Carolan challenge initiated by Asya Sergeeva. In this project all 213 O' Carolan tunes were randomly assigned to harpers worldwide. I got assigned nr. 81, which I arranged in a more modern way using ostinato patterns. The tune is a 3-part tune, the first part feels like a prelude, followed by a catchy middle part and improv. like end. The original tune can be found here: It was quite a challenge to make an arrangement for all three together. Sheet music is availably by request.
