The design of the BMW iX has been developed from the inside out. The new BMW flagship has been created to provide quality of life and wellbeing for drivers and passengers. The clear and minimalist design of its exterior showcases a new form of mobility geared squarely to the needs of the vehicle’s occupants. The exterior design of the BMW iX is based on the power and the characteristic strengths of a BMW SAV, combining them with a reduced, future-oriented design vocabulary and a holistic, sustainable vehicle concept. The Shy Tech principle can be seen in the BMW grille and bonnet. The radar sensors required for intelligent driver assistance systems are hidden behind the grille, while the BMW eDrive technology for sustainable mobility is concealed beneath the bonnet.
